The stolen bottles, named Bäsk Nömört, were created as an April Fools' joke and retail for around $30 each. The thief seemed to mistakenly believe the product was valuable. Despite the minimal financial loss, co-owner Austin Adamson described the incident as stressful and emphasized the importance of respecting small businesses. The distillery continues operations and plans to open a new location. The Lakewood police are investigating the incident.
