NOTE: The TTB Public COLA Registry provides access to information about Certification/Exemption of Label/Bottle Approvals (COLA). COLAs in the registry have one of the following current statuses: approved, expired, surrendered, or revoked.1
Zymarium Mead recently received approval for these labels. I’m not sure who the designer is but I think they look great. Plus the liquid on the inside of the bottle is really good, too. Definitely need too find a way to get these.
Mystic Ambrosia kills it with their labels. All the information to make an informed decision is right there on the label. These are most definitely getting added to my wishlist.
Funny how I was just talking about Blaqmead in the latest B&M Digest and then I saw this. Another one I hope to sample someday.
I guess you could say that I'm crazy about Maniacal Mead Co. I could see this being one of those “sit around the fire pit in the backyard while you sip” types of meads. Now I just need to find a bottle of this to sip… and get a fire pit… plus a backyard. Oh, so much to do!
When does something new become old? You could say when it's a new riff on New Riff that is Ol’ New Riff. Wish I knew when this drops. Maybe it'll be a spring drop on the New Riff Whiskey Club.
I'm a huge fan of Uncle Nearest and just picked up three bottles of their Single Barrel. Then I see this may be on the horizon and to say my anticipation is growing would be an understatement. I've had nothing but good things from Uncle Nearest and I don't feel this will be any different.
I haven't had the pleasure of trying Augusta Distillery yet. I'm hoping that changes with this possible release honoring the 150th Running for the Roses - The Kentucky Derby. If anyone has the hookup, hit me up!
Knock, knock, knockin’ on Heaven's Door. Yes, that was cheesy but I couldn't resist. Just like I won't be able to resist this Decades III release.
I guess that does it for now. Did you see anything that piques your interest?
Though a label receives approval from the TTB, that does not guarantee the distillery will release a product bearing that label. Though each label has information on proof, ABV%, Barrel, etc., this can be for placeholding and may differ if a release is realized.
